Split leather is the lower layer of hide, created by removing the top grain. It has a rough, suede-like surface, making it suitable for insoles. It absorbs moisture well, is non-slip, and is cost-effective, providing an excellent option for insoles. It can also be used for heel counter reinforcements and similar applications. We offer vegetable-tanned split leather in thicknesses ranging from 0.6 to 3 mm.
We’ll cut the leather to the dimensions you need. If you’re unsure which type or quantity of leather suits your project, feel free to CONTACT us.
