Cut for women's sandals in sizes 34-42.
It is an universal cut, which in the case of non - standard legs must be adjusted (narrow the heel, widen in the toe, etc.)
The minimum size of leather for sandals is 40 x 40 cm = 16 dm2 + leather for the insole approx. 6 dm2.
Thicker, firmer leather is recommended for tapes (eg unrolled cowhide 1.8 - 2.2 mm here) or here.
If you would make sandals from more supple nappa leathers, it is good to line them with, for example, porkskin.
A twill tape, for example, can be sewn between the upper part and the lining. This prevents the skin from being pulled out.
You need 35 cm of velcro in a width of 5 cm.
